Happy Thanksgiving Everybody !!!!

Cousin time @ my place 2008!

My sweet cousin Sonia , came for a quick visit last saturday. She had a bussiness meeting in Mexico DF and after that took a plane and came to visit us. She is a secretary at a railroad company in Argentina and one of my best friends ever. I am also so proud in having her as a family member. We had a lot of fun when we were younger.she always took care of me whan i was a baby. We have very funny memories together and the best an good thing is that we keep building more and more.......We went everywhere, downtown, uptown, highland park, northpark....... I made homemade sushi for her...and we put together a gingerbread house !!! Markus helped us out with that !!! We laughed soooo much...... i always think that she is one of the people that helps me with my health...cause i laugh soooo much when i am with her .She loves coming to Southlake and specially this time of the year !!! Everyhting looks so Christmasy !! We had a great time So, here everybody ! Sonia .

My friends and I got together on Sat October 25th and had a Halloween celebration at our house. It was soooooo much fun ,both spending some time with them and get to see them all dressed up in their lovely customes. Halloween is my second favorite celebration ,after Christmas.

My friend Marcee helped me with the decoration for the party . We had so much fun trying out "outfits"for my house.

When we were done it was as if i ve bought a new house. It looked amazing !

I chose to be a witch !! My hat was so big that I took a whole hand to hold it all the time !!!.

Vacation time in The Hill Country

We headed to a very ,very nice resort in Hill Country for our mini vacation time. I wanted to visit the hill country area in Texas since I got here. The pics I ve seen were just fav and i wasnt dissapointed at all !! The geography is just so nice, rolling hills,green all over, the sky was brighter and bluer than ever .The Lake called PK , is one of the most beautiful i ve ever seen..... the water is crystal clear, and there are plenty trees on the shore. The lake is full of cattails in some areas...very nice.The view from my room , was amazing.... perfect!

Anyway, we got to the resort, and the people were so friendly . My room had a fireplace ! I love rooms with fireplace. It feels so cozy and protected for me.. so that put me in a very good mood.

We made reservations for the spa. and after unpacking there s exactly where we spent the next 4 hours.

After a very southern meal ( chicken fried steak-my favourite and mark s rib eye )in the resort resto overviewing the lake, we went to downtown to visit the antique stores...lovely... !!! When we came back to the hotel we run into deer, domestic deers eating pears and apples on the side of the road.I couldnt believe it.!! I am so used to wild deer runnig from you when they see you . It was just like a tale.. like BAMBI !!

The next day Markus arranged a FISHING EXCURSION. We got up at 4 in the morning and fished for over 6 hours. We fished 20 and had some much fun hearing to differents stories told by our guide. He taught us new techniques and we had a blast !!!

Mark also played golf... we participated in power walks.... and so much more.... it was so nice, so relaxing, so fun . A lot of memories !!!!

We ended today with more spa !! in the Four Seasons. Here are some pics that I would love to share with all of you !!

I was so excited to get to see Nat today and having some French food with her. We chose this resto that we both like and catched up with our lives !!!Our favourites are : tomato bisque and french onion soup.You want more french than that !!!

She is such a special ,sweet friend and i always laugh so much when i am with her. I met her through church, while we were planning "Santa s Helpers " in 2005, and since then we got very close friends. I am so happy to haver her in my life here in the States.This pic below is with Nat and Amy ( on my right) on my sealing day.

Lunch time with Marcee

Today I had lunch with one of my dearest friend here !! Marcee. We had a light lunch in Colleyville, next to Southlake , and we did what we do best : shopping.... this time for HALLOWEEN , one of our fav holidays here.

Marcee is such a sweet friend and i love love love spending time with her. She is sooooooooooooooo fun to be with, and we always laugh so much !!! She has such a great personality and since day one she showed me how a wonderful, kind, human being she is . I love her !!!

Outdoor times at JAS RANCH !

On the Labor Day weekend we stayed with some of our friends at JAS Ranch, in Cedar Hills owned by Greg,very special friend.We had such a great time. Of course Mark and his buddies didmnt miss the opportunity to show off their hunting skills. So in the meantime i grabbed my fav magazine ,picked out a hammack under a nice tree and read until i fell asleep .Chasey , his lab, woke me up..it was almost lunch time. The hunters were back and we were ready for BBQ, potatoe salad,green salad and peach cobler ( obviamente ) After lunch some decided to take a nap, some others..like us, decided to have more fun and rode the four wheels !!! It was soooo much fun,specially when mark didnt speed !!!I went for a walk , and saw so many differents kinds of birds....and Greg helped me identify them.Then we went into town to pick up Greg last purchase : A 1930 Chrysler as shown in the pic. The days went by so fast!! Now i am back and ready to start another week at my normal life !!!.Thanks so much Greg for having us over !

Growing up pretty fast !!

I took this pic Sunday in the afternoon, they were taking a nap. It is so fun to see how each and every one are developing their own personalities...They are so fun to watch ....i spend a long time just laughing at everything they do.The good thing is that they eat dry food now ..yeah !!!! so no more mess , and no more waking up at 6am to feed the puppies.!!

Mark loves to nap with Mr Big, and the puppie loves him!! All of them are just so sweet !!!This pic below is one of Markus favourite , Mr Big showing his hunting skills with one of their fav toys: a bird with a lot of feathers....Oh well, what can i do about that ?? just enjoy the puppies as much as i can !

Pool party time!

Today is Friday 8-8-8- , and here i am with my friend Megan , in her fab home celebrating her bday with her friends and family.I met Megan at Pottery Barn and we had always so much fun together. When we worked the same shift we were always passing data on cool resto 's ,newest hotels .....what to wear , where to go .....what to visit....it was so fun !!!.

She is 100 % Leo , her horoscope sign, and that s what makes her so unique and fun to be around.

Cheers , for such a sweet friend on her bday and for many more lunchs together !!

Yeah!!!......my Primary class at home

Our family had a great visit today !!. My primary class ,my dearest primary class came to visit to meet the puppies , and we had a lot of fun together. Paige,Mendi,Holly and Hannah .I love you guys , so much !!!. And for all my friends who dont know them....here they are ,in my PT cruiser ready for action .( by the way: see how big the puppies are..so cute )

As soon as we got home i started with the introductions : BJ, Mr Big, Monday... and the girls started giving their own names to their favourite puppie !!! They played so much, the puppies fell asleep as soon as we put them back in their "bed".After we played enough with the pups we visited meanwhile we enjoyed some cupcakes with cream cheese icing . The day couldnt have been better for fresh lemonade, and after that lemon contest : who had the lemon in the mouth for the most time ???

Here is Mandi, with Mr big and "Mandi" as she baptized her fav puppie. The puppies had so much fun with her, they followed her all over the house.....where she was.....they were there.... She had such a special connection with the puppies....she really is an animal lover !!! Paige ,below on the left having fun with the puppie she picked out. Holly named this little girl after her ,and gave her so much love all the afternoon. This puppie is so lucky to have her !!!!
